Future Center Tokyo プログラムでは、ICMG CSO/ICMG SingaporeのDirector辻をファシリテーターに迎え「SDGs時代の共創型イノベーションの最前線－SDGsを如何に自社の事業に繋げるか－」をテーマに実施しました。
■SDGsに関する「よくある誤解」
そもそも、SDGs（持続可能な開発目標）は、「世界の未解決課題の解決」に焦点があり、多様な捉え方がある中で、国連がリードし、象徴的に定義してコンセンサスを獲得したものというのが大前提です。2001年に策定されたMDGsミレニアム開発目標（ミレニアム開発目標）の後継として、2015年の国連サミットで採択され、2030年までに持続可能な世界を目指す国際目標です。MDGsからSDGsへの移行におけるポイントは、「より包括的な視点（A Holistic Approach）の重要性」が強調されたことにあります。
SDGsは急速にトレンドになったためか、誤った理解をされていることがあります。例えば、SDGsを政府やNGOが主体であると捉えている、SDGsは17Goalsの分類に価値があると捉えている、これらは全て誤解です。
■これまでの時代とこれからの時代の転換
これまでの時代の大前提であった、従来型の資本主義は終わり、新たな価値観が大前提となる時代へと転換していきます。それは、経済成長重視だった世界から、Well-beingやSustainabilityを重視する世界への転換です。
SDGsは、世界の未解決課題という「やるべき」に対して、企業の「やれる」を掛け算していくことという「やるべき」×「やれる」の世界的コンセンサスがあります。その事例として、工場が自体が自然エコシステムを活性化する発想（Factory as a Forest）で工場を設計したInterface社などSDGsイノベーションの最前線となる企業の取り組みなどがあります。
また、SDGsは個別でなく、「カタマリ」でとらえることができます。スウェーデンのレジリエンス研究所所長考案の３レイヤーで捉える、４レイヤーで捉えるなど捉え方は多様ですが、自分に理解できる形であることが重要です。
そして、これからの時代のイノベーションの目的は、今持っているものでなく、世界全体にとって良い製品やサービスをみんなで創り出し、そこに自社の役割を創り出すことができれば、それが新たなビジネスになるというマインドセットでSDGsに取り組んでいくことが重要です。
■SDGsを事業に繋げる方法論に関する共有・対話
参加者からは「現業の目先の利益に捉われている人たちとの目線合わせが課題」、「理念はわかるが実際の事業運営とどのように結び付ければいいのかわからない」といった課題感が挙げられました。SDGsへの取り組みはまだ試行錯誤の段階ではあるものの、１つには企業価値を高めるブランディングとなり、また将来のビジネスモデルのプロトタイプとなりえるという将来価値を示すことが現在は主流です。
他にも、SDGsに基づいたKPIを設定した時に本当に正しい目標が設定できているのか、ステイクホルダーからの評価について考える意見もあり、学びの多い時間になりました。
「Future Center Tokyo」では、社会課題を解決し持続可能な事業を生み出す共創の"場(BA)"として、今後も継続的なビジネススキルの向上とメンバーのネットワーキングを目的としたビジネスアカデミープログラムを実施していきます。
