Future Center Tokyoプログラムでは、ICMGの登内大輔を講師に、「パーパスドリブンの組織・個人のリーダーシップ」をテーマにセッションを行いました。先行きが見えない時代をコロナ禍で体感している今、『組織/チーム、個人の思いのベクトルを揃え、どう新しい価値創造、イノベーションに向かっていくか』を考えます。
■Whyパーパス？
まずそもそも「なぜ今パーパスが重要なのか？」について組織レベルと個人レベルで対話を交えながら解説。 ＜組織におけるパーパス＞ 経営を持続可能にするため：エコシステム開発など中長期成果をあげるビジネスモデルの重要性が高まっている、機関投資家の判断軸において、単なる儲けではなく社会共通善や社会課題解決への評価が高まってきていることなどが挙げられます。 ＜個人におけるパーパス＞ 自律型の人材になり、問題解決だけでなく問題発見ができる人材となることなどが挙げられます。
■What パーパス？パーパスドリブン？
次の企業のパーパス設定の具体例を紹介しながら、パーパスを構成する要素について考えます。 重要な要素としては「社会的存在意義」（社会へのインパクトや変革）、「体現の方法」（どうやって実現していくのか）、「価値創造の源泉となる」（らしさ、強みなど）があり、それらが目指すべき方向性（ベクトル）になっていきます。 そしてそのパーパスのベクトルが指針となり、組織や個人の判断・行動へと繋がっていくことがパーパスドリブンの在り方であることを解説。 参加メンバーも対話の中で自身のパーパスの目的・意義を見つめなおし、「どうしても漠然となりがちなパーパスという言葉であるが、より実効性のあるイメージを考える機会となった」などの感想が出ました。
