－シンガポールでコーポレートイノベーションを加速－
8月7日（水）・8月8日（木）に、イノベーション先進国シンガポールの魅力と日本企業のグローバル進出を推進するセミナーが開催されました。ICMGからは、シンガポール ディレクターの辻 悠佑が登壇し、シンガポールの魅力とその活用方法について解説させていただくと共に、ICMGが現地で展開しているリアルな実例を共有させて頂きましたのでレポートいたします。
◆ OSAKA INNOVATION HUB（8/7） 本イベントは、大阪市、エンタープライズシンガポール（シンガポール企業庁）、JETRO大阪本部、日本アセアンセンター、ICMGの共催として、大阪から企業が世界へと躍進する一歩としたいという意図で開催されました。
シンガポールにすでに進出している企業としてICMG、ABEJA、UMITORONの3社が登壇し、シンガポールでのリアルな活動事例を紹介させていただきました。ICMGからは、シンガポールディレクター 辻が登壇し、シンガポールの最新のスタートアップ事情や、ICMGが現地で構築している産官学にまたがるエコシステムについて紹介させていただきました。
3社によるトークセッションでは、「シンガポールを選択した理由と苦労した点」というキーワーで展開し、「アジアという成長著しいマーケットの中心に位置する」や、「国家を上げてスタートアップの支援をしている」など多くの点で、イノベーションを考える企業にとってはシリコンバーレーなどよりも参入がしやすいのではないかという意見が上がりました。 また苦労した点では、現地インナーコミュニティへの参加が共通の課題として取り上げられ、素早くエコシステムを構築し、共創をしていく必要性が述べられました。
◆ VENTURE CAFE TOKYO（8/8） 本イベントは、Enterprise Singapore/シンガポール大使館の主催で、経済産業省、JETRO、ICMGが参加し、夜風が吹く野外バルコニーでの開催となりました。
それぞれ、これからはアジアが経済を牽引する時代だとして、アジアマーケットの中心地であるシンガポールで活躍する日本企業の事例などを紹介しながら、アジアのイノベーションハブとしてのシンガポールをいかに活用しながら現地企業といかに共創していくかを取り組みと共に解説されました。 また、スマートシティ、フィンテックなどの分野でも国家主導で推進されており、都市や実際の生活へと入り込んでおり、日本の何倍もの速さで変化が起きている実情について紹介されました。
参加者からも活発に質疑があり、ICMGの構築するエコシステムなどにも非常に興味を持っていただき、盛況に終わりました。
◇ Sharing of vibrancy of Singapore’s Start-up eco-system and how to leverage on the resources available
◆ SFF×SWITCH（11/11-15） シンガポールを活用する第1歩として、本年11月11～15日にかけて開催されるシンガポール最大のイノベーションイベント「SFF（Singapore Fintech Festival） ×SWITCH（Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology）」を主催であるEnterprise Singapore（シンガポール企業庁）の担当者が来日し、紹介が行われました。本イベントは、アジアのみならず世界中からフィンテックとイノベーション技術が集まるで、2018年度には5万7,000人が参加しています。
ICMGも2018年より参加しており、コーポレートイノベーションの推進に関するセッションを実施致しました。2019年もまた。イノベーションの最先端を体感し、エコシステムパートナーをみつける最適の場として活用していただけるプログラムを準備しておりますので、詳しい内容が決まり次第、ご案内させて頂きます。
